How To get to Tour Location

Among the three options below, we recommend <Option 2> for 1-2 people traveling, and <Option 3> for 4-8 family and friends traveling.

<Option 1> By public transportation
1. From Seoul, Yongsan Station > Jeonju station by Ktx, and then take a 119 bus to Jeonju Hanok village.
2.Jeonju hanok village to Jeonju Arboretum
: Take bus number 1994 in front of “Paldal-ro Art Center”, get off at “Intercity Express Bus Terminal”, and walk. or taxi (30minutes)
3. From Jeonju Arboretum to Jangtaesan Mountain
: Take a bus bound for Daejeon Complex Terminal from Honam Jeilmun Express Bus Stop to Daejeon. Then, take a taxi.(Public transportation buses are not recommended)
4. After moving to Daejeon Station (by taxi), take KTX to Seoul Station

<Option 2> By tour package: Take a tour package departing from Myeongdong, Hongdae, or other locations.
<Option 3> By private van

Detail Itinerary

1. Jeonju Hanok Village

09:00~12:00

It takes about three hours to get to Jeonju Hanok Village from Seoul. With over 700 hanok houses, it’s Korea’s largest traditional village. Experience authentic culture through hanbok rentals, traditional craft workshops, and local cuisine, including the famous bibimbap. Visit the historic Gyeonggijeon Shrine and admire the panoramic views from Omokdae Pavilion. This is a place where tradition and modernity perfectly harmonize in the heart of Jeonju.

2. Jeonju Arboretum

12:30~14:00

Jeonju Arboretum covers 196 hectares and is home to 3,899 plant species. Managed by the Korea Expressway Corporation, the park features a greenhouse garden, seasonal flowers like cherry blossoms and tulips, walking trails, and ponds. The small pavilion facing the lake is a prime photo spot.
(If you are short on time, skipping this and going straight to Jangtaesan.)

3. Jangtaesan Mountain

Jangtaesan Mountain features Korea’s largest metasequoia forest with over 6,300 towering trees. Located in Daejeon, this recreational forest offers scenic hiking trails, a sky tower, suspension bridge, and panoramic views. Best visited in autumn.
